Doctoral Programs

Since the ini is an institute jointly-operated between the University and the ETH Zurich, several options are available for doctoral degrees. Most students are hired to research a particular pre-funded project at the Institute, which can take place under several faculties of the University and ETH. Computational Science integrates these advances leading to validated, verifiable and efficient simulation, analysis and optimization of key technologies ranging from aircraft wings to drug design.

Computational Science Zurich (CSZ)  is a joint initiative of ETH and the University of Zurich that aims to:

Foster sustained interactions between PhD students, faculty and staff
Promote exchanges between academia, industry and society enabled by computational science
