Neuroinformatics as Minor (Nebenfach) before fall semester 2018
As of the fall semester 2016, the 30 ECTS minor in neuroinformatics comprises mandatory courses in programming and basic neuroscience (11 ECTS), a choice of 5 ECTS in statistics, and a mandatory choice of at least 6 ECTS in computational neuroscience, neuromorphic engineering, or modeling. The remaining ECTS can be chosen among a list of other relevant courses. A specialization in neuroinformatics is also possible in the 60 ECTS minor in computational science. Mandatory courses in programming and basic neuroscience (11 ECTS).
Important: Students who have already started the minor in neuroinformatics are allowed to complete it according to the previous regulations. If you can not complete your minor by the end of spring 2017 you should contact the dean's office to get an extension. The previous regulations are here.
