AER PIC microcontroller interface code

This code reads address-events from a spiking AE chip and does things with them, e.g. drives a speaker when a selected cell spikes, transforms the address. These modes are controlled over a serial port link to a PC. The serial port commands are sent by matlab functions. All these AE functions have recently (2006) been greatly enhanced by using USB interfaces, as described in, e.g. the quick start documentation for the new INI-AE-Biasgen interface.

• pic.tgz holds the Microchip 16C74 PIC microcontroller assembly code. The MPLAB project file is rf.prj. The assembly program is rf.asm.
• matlab.tgz holds the matlab code that talks to the PIC over a linux serial port to set the PIC's mode of operation.
