Stroke Therapy based on Interactive Action Observation

The basic idea behind this project is to harness the human action observation system (mirror neuron system) to improve post-stroke plasticity and repair. Patients are presented with virtual limbs which they can control, embedded in a variety of game-based scenarios to keep them motivated.

PITS: Paediatric Interactive Therapy System

This uses the same technologies as the project above, but the system is adapted for children with different needs (higher entertainment value, smaller user interface devices) and with a wide range of neurological deficits.

Extended Drawing Test (EDT)

This is a quick, simple, objective assessment of arm and hand function for patients with various conditions.
