Welcome to Elisabetta Chicca's home
I am a PostDoc at the
Institute
of Neuroinformatics (INI). My research interests are
in the field of neuromorphic VLSI. Specifically, I have been developing
hardware implementation of recurrent cooperative competitive networks
of spiking neurons for mimicking cortical computation. During my PhD
studies at
INI
I was involved in the EU founded project
ALAVLSI. I
am currently supported by an
SNF (Swiss
National Science Foundation) fellowship and I am also involved in the
EU founded project
DAISY.
