On 5 April, in front of over 400 guests, the INI spin-off YouRehab AG was awarded the 2011 ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark. The award of 98k CHF is given for exceptional achievement in interdisciplinary innovation for the benefit of society.

The INI/YouRehab team has developed YouGrabber, a new product for the rehabilitation of neurological movement disorders. It combines patient-optimized virtual reality technology with rehabilitation-specific exercises designed to increase training intensity and activate action observation networks in the brain to improve recovery of motor function.

Key members of the INI/YouRehab team include Kynan Eng, Daniel Kiper, Edith Chevrier, Pawel Pyk, and Oliver Ullmann.
